Seven days ago I told PB to be on warning and ready because I was taking Sunday 1st July OFF DUTY and taking Miss Teen to Perth’s Every Woman Expo.
He chuckled because ‘woozydoozy’ that is not what I do! Haven’t for the past 20 years, for the past 18 years my head has been stuck in kiddykingdom. Nothing but endless Wiggles, HooleyDooley’s, ballet, sport, play dough, poop and snotty noses. That’s all fine but it’s been bigger, deeper and longer than just a season and so finally I’m popping my head into the adult world and I like what I see. I’ll have one foot in each world now, I’d say forever because although first born has turned 18 I have 7 others behind him with the youngest just 3yrs old. By the time he’s grown up it’s more than likely I shall have grandkids.
Now back to the topic, the Expo!
I have never been and wow I’ve missed out! Next year will be exciting I’m already planning. The Expo ran for three days and included more than I can show on here. The venue was pleasant with space to move and so, so much to see and experience. Of course taking Miss Teen meant it was in no way my day and as always the day cost me, oops PB more than planned. She was worth it, we had a great day together, days like this are rare and must be grabbed zealously and jealously when the opportunity arises.
Every Woman Expo was a wonderful experience that I gained some great leads from. If you’ve never been I encourage you to go in 2013 and ENJOY.
For those who pity PB left with a house full of kids… don’t hahaha, he survived. He took them for a bush walk and did a great job playing solo parent for a few hours. I can tell because the house was a mess which means he focused totally on the kids! WELL DONE PB.
